Michelle M. Witten is a Seattle-based editor. She earned her B.S. in Film Production from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, including a semester at the Ithaca College London Center. Her senior film TEACH US TO BE VICTIMS won the James Pendleton Finishing Fund Award. She spent time in NYC working in client hospitality at Post Factory NY, a boutique post facility. Upon moving to Seattle, she worked with non-profit film studio The Film Company as a staff assistant editor on several projects, including the features THE TELEPHONE POLE NUMBERING SYSTEM (d. William Weiss) and THE BRAND UPON THE BRAIN (d. Guy Maddin). Other assistant credits include PROJECT KASHMIR (d. Senain Kheshgi & Geeta Patel) and THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF LITTLE DIZZLE (d. David Russo). She co-edited the 35mm feature WE GO WAY BACK (d. Lynn Shelton), which took Best Feature at Slamdance 2006, Best Feature at Torun Film Festival 2006, and Excellence by a Woman Director in Bend 2007. She recently completed the feature documentary METROPOLE (d. Stephanie Skourtes & Brian Ganter), and the narrative feature EMPOWERING (d. Mark Mattson). Other collaborators include visual artist Susan Robb and director SJ Chiro. THE ONE AND ONLY TIME is her first feature.

Benjamin Kasulke is a Seattle based director of photography. He received his BS in Cinema Production from Ithaca College following additional study at the Filmová a Televizní Fakulta Akadmie Muzickych Umní, Prague's National Academy of Film. Ben's professional experience includes employment as a film archivist with The Image Treasury, programmer with London's Raindance Film Festival, and staff projectionist with Olympia Film Society. While employed as the staff cinematographer for the Seattle based Film Company, he has been fortunate enough to work with award winning filmmakers Guy Maddin, Lynn Shelton and Joe Swanberg. In 2006, he received two awards for his Cinematography on Shelton's "We Go Way Back" from the Slamdance and Torun Film Festivals. Ben was also honored to work with director Linas Phillips on his award winning documentary "Walking To Werner" in 2006. The Seattle Stranger shortlisted Kasulke for it's Genius Award in Film in 2007. |
